Our lawnmower offers different edge-cutting behaviors depending on the selected mowing mode and PreciEdge accessory configuration.
(1) Different Mowing Mode Behaviors
Mowing Mode | Edge-Cutting Performance |
Full Mode (Global Mowing) | After completing the main central area, the mower will perform two laps of edge mowing around the edge. * |
Area Mode (Selected Areas Mowing) | Follows the same logic as Full Mode. * |
Edge Mode (Area Edge Mowing) | The mower only focuses on the edge and performs one lap only. |
*Note: In the [Preferences] settings for both Full Mode and Area Mode, you will find the Edge-Cutting toggle:
-Switch ON: The mower will perform the two-lap edge mowing.
-Switch OFF: The mower will only mow the main area and won't mow the edge.
(2) The Two-Lap Logic (Full & Area Mode)
When edge-cutting toggle is on, the mower performs two laps and follows a specific sequence to ensure maximum coverage:
- Outer Lap (First): The mower moves directly along the boundary line.
- Inner Lap (Second): The mower moves slightly inward to mow a second parallel lap.
(3) When & how main blades and PreciEdge Accessory work?
The blade operation depends on your specific model and whether the PreciEdge kit is equipped.
Model Series | PreciEdge Accessory Status | Outer Lap (First) | Inner Lap (Second) |
S Series | Built-in (Standard) | Main Blade + Side Blade | Main Blade Only |
Q & Z Series | Optional (Purchased Separately) | Main Blade + Side Blade* | Main Blade Only |
Q & Z Series | Not Installed | Main Blade Only | Main Blade Only |
*Note: For Q & Z Series, the PreciEdge module will only operate if the accessory has been purchased and properly installed.
