Answer:
- Check whether this large area is newly added and whether a passage has been created between it and other already-mowed areas.
- Check the width of the passage—make sure it’s at least 70 cm wide so the mower can pass through easily.
- Look for obstacles (e.g., toys, tools, or debris) along the passage that might block the mower.
- Check if any No-go zones have been drawn inside the unmowed area—these will prevent the mower from entering.
- Verify that you’ve included the unmowed area in your selected working area. It’s possible only the already-mowed sections were chosen.
- Check if the unmowed area has a steep slope—some mowers can’t handle slopes steeper than their maximum incline limit (check your model’s specs).
- If the grass is very tall (e.g., over 10 cm), the mower may mistake it for an obstacle and avoid the area. Try manually trimming it down to about 10 cm first, then restart mowing.
- Open the app and check the mowing progress—your mower may have already finished, or it could be returning to charge due to low battery.
- Confirm whether Rain Protection mode is turned on—it will pause mowing during wet conditions.
- Try scheduling mowing again at a different time. If the issue continues, contact Roborock Customer Service or your local dealer for further help.
Note: Your mower automatically remembers areas it hasn’t covered yet—and will return to complete them during its next mowing cycle.
