Answer: When a new firmware update is available for your mower, you’ll see a notification in the Roborock app.
You can update right away by tapping Start Updating, or check and install the update manually using either of the methods below.
Method 1: Update from the device screen
- Make sure your mower is paired with the Roborock app.
- In the app, go to:
Device→ Tap your mower → Settings → Firmware Updates → Start Updating
Then wait while the update downloads and installs. The process is complete once the mower restarts and reconnects.
Method 2: Update from your account settings
- Make sure your mower is paired with the Roborock app.
- In the app, go to:
Profile → Settings → Firmware Update → Select your mower → Start Updating
Then wait for the update to finish.
Note: Your mower will be unavailable during the firmware update — it won’t mow or respond to commands until the process is complete and it reconnects to the app.
